Charles “Chuck” Farrington passed away on May 19th, surrounded by family at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick, Maine. He was born on June 4th, 1956 in New Rochelle, New York. He lived in Smithtown, New York before moving to South Egremont, Massachusetts in 1965. Charles graduated from Mount Everett Regional High School in 1973 in Sheffield, MA and attended the Massachusetts Maritime Academy. He moved to New Jersey as a young man living in Hamilton Township, Lambertville and Princeton working as a printer. Later he relocated to Brunswick Maine.

Charles was a talented artist. His paintings and walking sticks are treasured by those lucky enough to own one. He was a life-long fan of the Rams and Baltimore Orioles. He loved the Rolling Stones and Van Morrison, the Berkshires and the Virgin Islands.

Charles was predeceased by his father, Rex Judkins and is survived by his mother Joan Henich of Brunswick, Maine, his aunt and uncle Michaela and Burton Lesser of Ephrata, Washington; his sister Michaela Lipsey and her husband Steve Lipsey of Troutdale, Oregon; his sister Claire Farrell and her husband Chris Farrell of Maynard, Massachusetts; his sister, Candace Ullrich and her husband Vincent Ullrich of Brunswick, Maine; his brother, Rex Judkins and his wife Linda Judkins of Phoenix, Arizona; and his brother, Clark Judkins and his wife Cathy Judkins of Clinton, Massachusetts, as well as his nieces, Yvonne Ullrich Kennedy and her husband Brian Kennedy, Rachel Lipsey and her husband Aaron Ward, Kate Farrell, and Alexandra Judkins; his nephews Robert Ullrich and his wife Amy Ullrich, Ben Lipsey and Giuseppe and Tobias Judkins, and his great-nieces Ava and Lena Kennedy and great nephews, Kyle, Cole and Chase Ullrich, Ryan and Aidan Kennedy and Leifur Farrington Ward.

A Celebration of his life will be held in the Berkshires in September.
