Phippsburg - Frederick Thomas York, 80, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at his home in West Point with his family at his side. Frederick was born Thursday, August 29, 1935 in Bath, Maine, to Bernard Francis York and Marjorie Isabell Gilliam. He and Josephine Munsey married 53 years ago and shared many wonderful years. He loved his family and will always be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. Frederick was a Lobsterman for almost 60 years; he loved the ocean and nature. He was a veteran of the Army serving in Germany and this Country.

Frederick was predeceased by his parents and a special Uncle Irving York.

He is survived by his loving wife, daughters Kimberly Shade and her husband John, II of Texas, Michele Morong and her husband Gary of Phippsburg. Grandchildren, John Shade, III, Zachery Shade both of Texas and Hannah Morong of Phippsburg, Brothers, Gene York and his wife Judy of West Point and Myron York of Bath. As well as great grandchildren, Madison, Zoe and Elizabeth, many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

A funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 24 at 2:00pm at the West Point Community Church, 252 West Point Road, Phippsburg, Maine.
