It's been a year since your spirit took flight! It gives me pause because you are no longer bound to this earth but it gives me joy to know that your spirit is forever souring with the many family and friends who passed before you. You gave us 28 years of laughter, great hugs and "what another tattoo??" We were truly blessed for those 28 years and thank you for sticking around and being present for each and every one of those years. Until I see you in the next phase of my life know that LOVE brought you into this world and God's LOVE took you into his world. You are in great company!!!!

I just learned about the death of your loved one. Death hurts the living, no matter what relationship you had with the deceased. We often have questions that go unanswered, such as; "What's happening to my loved one? " "Can I help them in any way?" "Can they hurt or help me or my family?" "Can I communicate with them?" "Where can I find answers to these & other questions?"
I have found that the Bible has satisfying answers to my questions.
For example, go to your copy of the Bible and read Ecclesiastes 9:4,5,10. Would you not agree that these scriptures tell us that: (1) That the dead are unconscious & can't help or hurt us.
For more Bible information & answers to your question(s): Go to www.jw.org. Scroll down to the bottom of the page & select 'ANSWERS TO BIBLE QUESTIONS'. SELECT the question(s) that you want a Bible answer to.

I haven't seen Ben since 6th grade. That's 18 years ago. But I remembered him the entire time and a year ago stumbled on his Facebook. I'm thankful to have had the time to reconnect and walk down memory lane.

I'm sorry you felt lost and defeated Ben. I wish I could erase the demons that haunted you, I guess there Just what you did, erased the demons. Fly high in the arms of Jesus and may he hold your father and sisters up through this unbarable time.
I will never forget. 💜

Benjamin, I am so mad at you for tasking us with the impossible job of explaining to our baby who her uncle was. There is no "explaining" Ben Bragg. We will have to tell her how big your heart was. How much fun you had playing with Crimson and Carver and that you would have wanted to do the same with her. That you were there when we found out she was girl and videotaped it where she can see your face and crazy hair. That the night before you were gone you touched my belly when she was moving. Her bedroom is going to be a mix of blues and greens like the prettiest oceans and I will make her a blanket out of all your blue and green dress shirts I kept. I am mad because she has to settle for just stories and memories of you but we will do our best. Keep visiting us in our minds and in our dreams.

We work with Ben's brother, Ben Wright, in South Korea and send our deepest sympathies and sincerest prayers. We pray in Jesus' name that the Lord comforts all in this tragic time, as He promises, and that Ben is standing by His side, in His loving embrace, right now. We wanted to send some flowers, but instead will honor the request on this website to make a donation to Bath Area Family YMCA in honor of Ben.

Sorry that you left so soon You were so young with your whole life ahead of you. I'm sorry you were hurting inside to do what you did life is a battle and some people can't handle what is given, although you had a strong mind and a beautiful soul there were demons haunting you and they took hold and didn't let go til you did. I'm so sorry for the family that is in a sad space right now but we need to celebrate his life instead of mourning it thats what he would have wanted. May you find happiness in the journey of the afterlife! You will be missed dearly!!

We haven't seen Ben since then, but he's always held a special place in our memories. His smile, his kindness.. he was just such a wonderful kid. I shall never forget the kindness Ben showed me when we lived on Floral. He and Leah up and me down. He helped me get rid of spiders and cobwebs when I couldn't climb up on the ladder. Amazing young man and the stories about the snakes at his father's home in G-Town . The way he told it was quite funny. Fly high, Ben, you surely were one of a kind.

infectious laughter. great strength. swimming through the pain of many separated shoulders and loss of your mother. That is what we knew of you and loved of you from the stands as parents of two who laughed with you and swam with you. Later, I watched your brave, candid, inspirational speech about crawling through pain to the light of recovery when you shared your darkness. and my heart ached. Then through the small world of Facebook, I read your post of 7/23 (someone in our mutual worlds had "liked" it which put it on my feed) and I ached -- thinking you were in pain and wondering if you were crawling in the wrong direction -- toward pain, instead of away. And I cried because my beloved son had never crawled to the pain ... he had leapt into it with no sign, no clue, no warning, no guidepost -- and I wondered if your family would get a chance -- and I saw that your beloved sister had reminded you how much you were loved. So, now I cry again. Ben. you were and are loved by a world far beyond and larger than the little connections I note here. I wish you peace. And I wish your family, who loved you so deeply, a deep abiding peace. There are no answers. Only love.

Ben was one of "my" kids during both his Freshman and Junior years. Ben was such a delight and joy. Oh, he had moments where he could be a bit of a handful, but they were rare and never mean-spirited. He was funny, intelligent, loyal and he literally lit up the room. He was one of those kids I'll never forget, and I always smile when I think about him. I am stunned he is gone, and my heart aches for his family and friends. May the memories of good times, love and laughter bring you smiles amid the tears. And may God be your comfort and peace.
