Bath – Lillian Mary Jewell, 90 years old, of Bath, Maine, born April 9, 1925 in Brooklyn, New York, has passed, peacefully at her home on March 31, 2016.

Lillian loved to listen to Big Band music while attending dances with her late husband, Warren H Jewell, at the Elks Lodge in Bath and American Legion. Upon retirement from Bath School Department in 1998, where she was a cook for over 20 years, Lillian enjoyed spending winter months in Indian Rock, Florida with her husband and spending the summer months attending Maine State Music Theater. Lillian also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and they always received advice from her.

Lillian was married to Warren H Jewell for 56 years where they had a very happy, loving marriage. Warren passed away May 7, 2001. Lillian was a loving mother to Claudia Ann Jewell McIntyre who passed away September 3, 2006 and Warren “Chip” H Jewell Jr who passed away May 27, 2009.

She leaves behind a daughter, Karen Jewell Kenney of Woolwich and grandchildren she loved and adored, Jason Kenney and his wife Crystal of Woolwich, Derek Kenney and his wife Amanda of Woolwich, Amanda Plummer and her husband Shane of Wiscasset, Amber McIntyre of Boston Massachusetts, Kenneth McIntyre of Georgetown, Cory Jewell and Tash Jewell both of Virginia.

The light of Lillian’s life was her great grandchildren, she adored so much; Audie Plummer, Clay Plummer, Makayla Kenney, Savannah Kenney, Timothy Kenney and Mara McIntyre.

Visiting hour will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 from 2:00 - 3:00pm at the Grace Episcopal Church, 1100 Washington Street, Bath.

A Funeral Mass will follow at 3:00pm at the Grace Episcopal Church.

I’ll see you mom “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” you’ll be greatly missed but always in our hearts.
