Brunswick - Pauline I. Burgess passed away peacefully on Friday, September 16, 2016 at the HIll House in Bath, from complications of Dementia.  She was 81 years old.  Pauline was born on May 17th, 1935 in Brusnwick, Maine.  She went to St. John's Catholic School until 8th grade and then graduated from Brunswick High School Class of 1953.  She worked as a secretary for the principal of Brunswick High school from 1953-1958.

Pauline married L. Robert Burgess on June 26th, 1958.  She was a homemaker and took care of her niece & nephews, parents and grand parents. 

She had a passion for her English Bulldogs, Penney being her best friend. 

She was a lifetime active communicant of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

Pauline was predeceased by her parents, and a brother, Robert D Fortin of Florida.

She leaves behind her husband of 58 years, Robert; a sister, Yvette and her husband Colby Sanborn of East Waterboro; sister-in-law, Nancy Fortin of Fruitland, FL and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from 4:00 - 6:00pm at Demers-Desmond Funeral Home, 34 Cushing Street, Brunswick.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 11:00am at All Saints Parish, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Brunswick.
