Bath – Peter Edward Lebel, 65, of Bath, passed away peacefully Sunday Nov 1^st 2015 of liver failure. He was born March 24, 1950 in Bath, ME. A son of Francis J and Hazel M. Lebel. He attended Bath area schools and graduated from Morse High School in the class of 1969. After high school, Peter attended SMVTI trade school for welding. He carried his trade to Bath Iron Works in the shipyards.

He loved football Sundays, always cheering for his Denver Bronco’s. Motorcycles were another love of his, but the thing he loved most was family.

He is predeceased by his parents, Francis and Hazel; sister, Debra A. Lebel Larose; as well as several aunts and uncles.

Peter is survived by his brothers Robert Condon and his wife Jan of Sun City, Fla,  Paul F Lebel of North Bath, as well as  Gregory J Lebel and wife Maria of Phippsburg; several nieces and nephews; cousins; a special aunt Agnes Lebel of Bath, and several friends.

There was always a smile from him and he will be sadly missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Peter’s memory may be made to Hospice of Southern Maine, 11 Hunnewell Road, Scarborough Maine 04004.

The Lebel family would like to thank the staff at Midcoast Hospital, Maine Medical, Lahey Hospital and Clinic and Hospice of Southern Maine, for all that they did.

Visiting will be held at the David E. Desmond & Son Funeral Home, 638 High Street, Bath, on Friday, November 6^th, 2015 from 10:00 – 11:00am with a funeral service to be held at 11:00am at the funeral home.
