Robert Doughty Sr, Obituary

Bath – Robert C Doughty Sr., 81, passed away on February 26 2018. Robert was born on March 4, 1936, son of Herbert & Charlotte Doughty, he was raised on Chebeague Island in Casco Bay.

On July 14, 1955 he married Shirley I. Horr. The couple raised 5 children, Robert Doughty Jr., Sharron Brown, Bruce Doughty, Brian Doughty and Mark Doughty whom was lost at sea in 2001.

Robert joined the United States Navy in 1955, after proudly serving his country he returned home and pursued his love of the ocean and became a commercial fisherman.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 1:00pm at Morningside Cemetery, Phippsburg.
