Beth-I just learned of Roland's passing. I am so very sorry to hear this and that I did not make it to his funeral. I would have been there! I am so sorry. Roland was always so kind and good to me, especially after my Dad passed. I will pray for peace for you. I can't help but think of the party in heaven with my Dad, Roland, Roger & Dave Girardin. Can you only imagine the welcome he received?

he will be missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Beth.

Beth and Family,
My condolences.
Roland was always a good and generous man. When he was stationed at Norfolk Naval Base, he would spend his weekends off with our family. And he always had food with him. Usually donuts. I was only 15 at the time, but he would take me with him to the beach or movies. We always played cribbage. Not many young Sailors would spend their time off with a much younger cousin. He was like a big brother.

Dear Beth. I am so sorry to hear about Roland passing. He had an amazing life and many wonderful years with you. I always thought you made a great couple. I even got to know him better from his obit and it was quite impressive. I don't think I ever went to the bowling alley or the Knights without seeing Roland there!
He certainly used his life to the fullest and that is all you can ask for. Hang in there and hang onto your friends and family and cherish the memories. I wish we could be there. Love, Leona and Rick

My sincere condolences go out to your family. I pray that you will allow God to be your comforter and accept his gift of our Savior, our Lord Jesus Christ. I hope that his promises to reunite us on resurrection day, will carry you through the difficult days ahead and gradually replace your tears of grief with tears of Joy. ~ John 3:16; John 5:28, 29; Revelation 21:3, 4

Beth and Family,
My deep condolences for your loss. Roland lived his life on this own terms, one of those terms was service to his God, service to his Brother Knights, and service to all who knew him. It has been an honor to have known him and a very deep personal honor to have cared for him over the last few days. God Bless you and your family..
