Bath - Barbara Fraser Hull, 85, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2017 surrounded, loved and cared for by her

immediate family and the staff of Horizons Living Center. She was born on July 10, 1932 in

Bath, Maine the daughter of Harriet (Pratt) and William E. Fraser. She grew up in Bath on

Chestnut Street, attended Bath schools and graduated from Morse High School in 1952.

After high school she worked briefly as a Secretary at the Bath Times. Late in 1953 she met her true love at church, Robert W. Hull who was in the Navy stationed at the Brunswick Naval Air

Station. On the 21st of August 1954 they were married and made their home in Bath where

they raised five children.

Barbara loved her family, she was proud to be a stay at home Mom and her family was her priority. For many years her three great nephews also lived with them.

She taught children’s Sunday school at the Bath Church of the Nazarene and the Brunswick

Church of the Nazarene. She was a member of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union, was

involved in Eastern Star in Bath and was Worthy Advisor of the Rainbow Girls for a number of

years. She was an active member in Morse Band Boosters and loved going to basketball and

football games with her family. Barbara was a current member of Gospel Light Fellowship in

West Bath and for a short while she took care of the babies and children at the Christian Day

Care.

Barbara loved singing and sang in many choirs; she especially loved singing a duet with her

husband at church. She also loved to cook big dinners and bake for her family. She canned

vegetables and made wonderful pies, but her chocolate chip cookies were the best ever. Her

family said she got the most enjoyment out of cooking. Barbara liked to knit, embroider, read

and watch TV in her spare time. She loved watching her New England Patriots and Boston Red

Sox.

She is predeceased by her husband, Robert W. Hull, Sr. of over 55 years, and her sister

and brother-in-law Marjorie L. Bailey and Stuart H. Bailey.
