BRUNSWICK – Barbara went to her Lord when he called her to be at peace on Tuesday, November 28th, 2017.  Born Barbara Ann Theberge, the only daughter to Anita and Alexis Theberge on May 18th, 1955.  She attended St. John’s School, Brunswick High School, St. Joseph’s College, and SMTC. She was currently employed by Alliance Press/Times Record for 39 years.

Barbara was a communicant of All Saints Parish, St. John’s Church. She served her Lord in many ways with her talents and knowledge of her faith. She was on numerous committees. Her church family and friends meant the world to her. She cherished all their friendships. Earlier years she was active in CYO, Miss Maine and Teen Queen Pageants.

Barbara had a love for the ocean and her cottage. She enjoyed spending time there with her nieces and nephews every weekend. They would pick shells together, swim out to elephant rock and enjoy lobster cookouts. Her joyful spirit and quick wit will be missed

Predeceased by her parents Anita and Alexis Theberge, and brother Roger Theberge.

Barbara leaves behind her brothers, Patrick Theberge and wife Elaine of Medford,MA, Richard Theberge of Gorham, Robert Theberge and partner Christine of Portland, Paul Theberge and wife Carol, of Ottawa, Canada, Leo Theberge and wife Monica of Brunswick; Sister-in Law Linda Theberge, of Plymouth, MA. and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, December 4th from 3:00 – 7::00pm at Demers-Desmond Funeral Home, 34 Cushing Street, Brunswick.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 11:00am at All Saints Parish, St. John the Baptist Church, Pleasant Street, Brunswick.
