Daniel J. Venuto

Bath - Daniel J. Venuto, age 63, peacefully passed away in his home surrounded by loved ones on September 4th 2018.  Beloved husband to Valadon Venuto and stepchildren Christopher Coombs, Rikilyn Moser, and Rhonda Coombs Halpin. He also leaves behind four grandchildren Robert Coombs, Brandon Murray, Ericka Murray and Victoria Moser; three great grandchildren Aria-Lynn Murray, Garrett Murray-Nein, and Robert Allen Coombs.

Daniel was born to now deceased father, Patsy Venuto and deceased mother, Pierrette Frigant in Dobbs Ferry, NY on July 24 1955.  He is survived by three sisters Patricia (ticky) Ketring, Teresa Venuto, and Debra Venuto; one nephew, and four nieces.  He is preceded in death by one sister, Alice Bosco.

 Daniel served in the US navy as a gunner's mate for 6 years.  In the early 1980's he found his way to Maine.  In 1989 he started working at Bath Iron Works, where he retired in 2016.  Daniel was a sons of the American Legion and a legion air for many years.

 Daniel loved politics and was a loyal New York Jets fan, he also loved old movies, jazz music and talk radio. He also enjoyed the company of his many friends and loved ones and love to debate everything!!
