It is with great sadness that the family of Dot Laffely announces her passing on August 16th at the age of 85 years.

Dot’s birth place was Manchester, NH. When she was a young child her family moved to Bowdoin Center, ME to be closer to her Grandparents. In 1950 Dot married Philippe E. Laffely of Brunswick. They resided in Topsham. With the passing of Philippe in 2000, Dot moved to Clearwater, FL. to live next to her sister and to enjoy the sun shine. Dot moved back to Brunswick in 2013.

Dot is survived by her children Paula & Robert Bisson, Ronald & Sally Laffely, Joanne & Steven Compton and Sandra & John Best. Dot is a grandmother for three generations of her family tree.

Memories of Dot include being a great dancer, roller skater, bowler, seamstress, friend, and imaginative story teller.

A Celebration of Dot’s life will take place with the private gathering of the children and at future holidays.
