Brunswick – Dorothy “Dottie” E. Beals, 87, of Brunswick, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Bodwell House in Brunswick. In her free time she enjoyed going to Bean Suppers, Shopping and watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. Dottie had a heart of gold and cared more for others than she did for herself. She always made it a point to send a card to anyone who she thoughts needed a word of encouragement. She sent so many, that she was known as the “Card Lady” at Big Al’s. Her loving thoughts will be missed by all that loved her.

Dottie was predeceased by her husband, Lester; brother, Bill; 3 sisters, Marion, Helen & Lee. She is survived by 3 sons, Glen of Brunswick, and the twins, Richard & Randy of Bowdoinham; a special sister-in-law Geneva Beals; brother, Bob and his companion Louise who was also like a sister to Dottie; several nieces and nephews; and 3 special friends, Nancy, Katie and Donna
