Elizabeth (Ross) Goodman

Bowdoinham – Elizabeth (Ross) Goodman, 63, of Bowdoinham, passed away unexpectedly on January 27, 2018 at Tufts Medical Hospital in Boston, MA..  Elizabeth (Liz) was born on November 20, 1954, in Thurso, Scotland, the daughter of Peter Ross.

Elizabeth met and married Gary Goodman May 3, 1973 and had three children, Gary, Julie and Lisa Goodman.  The couple eventually moved to the states after Gary was out of the military, they moved to Bath, Maine, where they raised their kids.  They were married from 1973 – 2004 and went their separate ways but still remained great friends. 

Elizabeth met her other half Bill Larabee in 2004 and moved to Topsham, then bought land in Bowdoinham where they settled in 2015. 

Liz enjoyed taking long rides with Bill, adored her grandchildren and loved her family very much.  She worked at Topsham’s McDonalds for years which they became her family as well.  She loved to see everyone happy.  She was always smiling, laughing and full of love.  Her friends, family and everyone that knew her adored and loved her very much. 

She was predeceased by her daughter, Julie Goodman and a sister Patricia Maitland.

She leaves behind her 2 children, Gary and Lisa Goodman, 7 grandchildren, Noah, Logan, Kaiden, Avery, Ladon, Piper and Paisley, ex-husband, Gary Goodman and her life partner, Bill Larrabee, her lifelong best friends, Patricia and Sharon, and her 2 nieces, Claire and Denise. 

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, February 5, 2018 from 2:00 – 3:00pm at the David E. Desmond & Son Funeral Home, 638 High Street, Bath.  A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 3:00pm at the funeral home.  A reception will be held at 4:30pm at the Bath Elks.  All are welcome to join the family.
