Dad,

Yesterday was the hardest day of my life thus far. You always told us that you were going to live until you were 94, and part of me kind of planned on that.

You were an extraordinary man there are no words in the word that I can say to make you understand how much you are loved. You were the best dad a girl could ever ask for. I love you so, so much and I will miss you every single day for the rest of my life.

I promise you that me, Phil, Wade, Tasha and Addison will all take care of mom. It's going to take 5 of us to even remotely compare to a portion of the man you were to your wife. Your undying love for her. You were her rock, I'm sure you don't even know how much you meant to her. We, along with any other person in the world will never be able to fill your shoes, you are truly irreplaceable. But, what I can tell you is she will be taken care of, she will have everything she needs at anytime of day or night and we will try our absolute best.

I so very sad that you and Wade will never truly get to know each other. I know how much you were excited for your very first grandson. I was lucky enough to bless you with him, even though you could only be around for a very, very short period in his life. You are SUCH a great grandfather. I will make sure that I do my best to raise him to be a man just like you and to make you proud. Don't worry he will be wearing Patriots gear during football season. I will also make sure that I crack a beer the first snap the Patriots have for every game and say "Bring us a win Tom"

I love you so much, I miss you more than anyone could ever comprehend.

Love,
Your "mini me"

Greetings,
I was so sad to hear about the passing of your father, Eugene.
I was in the same class as Eugene and he was a funny, kind soul. One day, I was crying near the old Huse school (don't remember why now) and he was so sweet and concerned for me, he walked me home and cheered me up 🌞⛈
How lucky you are having had him as a father...My sincerest condolences.

Uncle gene.
This is really hard and I miss you. We didn't have a ton of memories together, but the ones we did have I'll always remember and cherish forever. Like the time you showed me how to fix my car and insisted just i do it so that I would always remember how. You were so patient. It Must have took me 2 hours to do a 30 minute job but you didn't mind. You wanted to make sure I learned and did it right. Also the time you, John Adam and myself had that great time at roadhouse had some beers. I remember how fun you were and thinking "damn, uncle gene is a pretty damn cool dude" also we have the same taste in music and good taste you had my friend. I want you to know I love Tasha like she was my own sister, and I promise you I'll always have her back and protect her. So uncle gene i hate goodbyes, but I won't call it that. Cause I truly believe I'll see you again somehow. So instead of good bye, see you later.

Uncle Gene. So many times I wanted to come up and visit with you. Catch up on life, introduce you to Mya and see your infectious smile. You were always smiling and laughing. Always making our trips fun and making your nieces grateful for an uncle like you. But something always came up until suddenly, there was no more time. You were gone and I never got to see your smile again or hear you laugh. Mya will never get to experience the great uncle you were to us. It always feels like you have all the time in the world but you don't. I'm sorry I didn't call or visit enough. I'm sorry I never told you how great an uncle you were. I miss you Uncle Gene and I love you.

It was such a pleasure to know Gene, that sense of humor, and the professionalism he had at work, teaching many new people the art of electrical hook up. He was already missed by his BIW family, the world lost a great guy. My condolences to his family

Dad,
You think you have all the time in the world to make things right, to make them better. I will forever regret that I could not get beyond the awkward and just give you a hug and tell you I loved you. I do love you and think of you every day. I'm so sorry you left so early, I wish I had one more day just so you could know how much I love you. One day we will meet again and I won't be afraid to give you that hug.

I still cannot believe you're gone Dad... please know that you were my best friend, my go-to man for literally EVERYTHING and words cannot even Describe how much I appreciated every single thing you did for all of us. You and Addison will always share an unbreakable bond that only the two of you could ever understand. You were the most amazing father and grandfather. You were a great role model and taught us girls never to settle for less than we deserve. You're never ending love for mom showed us what true love really is. You were always there for us any time, day or night (like when you run out of gas a 1 a.m) and you never once hesitated to help your family or friends. You were the best man I have ever known and nobody can ever fill your shoes. Even though your body is no longer with us, I know you will always be with us in spirit looking over your girls like you always have.. Your "Midgy Bug" has your chapstick whenever she needs a Grampy kiss and she has your shirt whenever she needs a hug. I know you will always be with us... I love you Dad. Xoxo xoxo
