Wiscasset - James “Jake” A. Kaiser Jr.  49, passed away on October 30th, 2017 at his home in Wiscasset, Maine. He was born July 26, 1968 to Sharon Kaiser and James Kaiser Sr. of Battle Creek, Michigan. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Kimberley, beloved father to Julia, Olivia and Alycia, and Cherished “papa” to Paisley and Piper. He is predeceased by his Mother, Sharon A. (Benner) Kaiser also survived by his Father, James Kaiser Sr., & his wife, Sandra (Rush) Kaiser, sister, Sandi Kaiser Fortune & her husband Andy of New York, sister, Kimberly Merrill and her husband Fred of Richmond, sister, Misty Parkinson and her husband Tom of Maryland and a brother, Buddy Rogers and his wife Jessica of Lisbon Falls, and many nieces and nephews. 

Jake graduated from Boothbay Regional High-school in 1987 and spent his younger years working at his families Bakery, The Crunchy Snail in Boothbay Harbor. He left the bakery to start his Machinist career at BIW in Bath, Maine, ending his career at Masters Machine in Bristol, Maine.

Jake spent years serving the communities he lived it he joined Boothbay Regional Ambulance service at the age of 16, Left the fire service in 2008 as the Deputy Chief for Woolwich Fire Department.


On November 1st, 2003 he married the love of his life, Kimberley White Kaiser, in Randolph, Maine. 

 

 Jake was an avid car collector, his pride and joy “Chagah” was his current project. He was an active member of the Rusty Nuts Car Club and enjoyed spending summers with his friends at Meadowbrook Campground.

 

Jake left a lasting impression on all of the people he encountered. His infectious laugh and smile could fill a room everywhere. He was well known, and loved in his communities but his place of solace was at home with his wife, children and granddaughters.

 

A time of gathering will be held on Saturday November 4th, 2017 from 11 to 12:00 with a service to follow at 12:00pm at the David E. Desmond & Son Funeral Home in Bath, ME. Online condolences can be left on James A. Kaiser Jr. memorial tribute at www.desmondfuneralhomes.com
