I just learned about the death of your loved one. Death hurts the living, no matter what relationship you had with the deceased. We often have questions that go unanswered, such as; "What's happening to my loved one? " "Can I help them in any way?" "Can they hurt or help me or my family?" "Can I communicate with them?" "Where can I find answers to these & other questions?"
I have found that the Bible has satisfying answers to my questions.
For example, go to your copy of the Bible and read Ecclesiastes 9:4,5,10. Would you not agree that these scriptures tell us that: (1) That the dead are unconscious & can't help or hurt us.
For more Bible information & answers to your question(s): Go to www.jw.org. Scroll down to the bottom of the page & select 'ANSWERS TO BIBLE QUESTIONS'. SELECT the question(s) that you want a Bible answer to.

I first met your Mom as a coworker at Maine National Bank. She was one of the kindest ladies during my early days in Maine. No matter what the situation she always had a smilel on her face and a twinkle in her eye. So much like that picture for her obituary. I had to smile that was so Leah.
After I left the bank,!I met your Dad at BIW and what a sweet and personable man he
was.
On occasion, Leah and I ran into each other about town and she always inquired of my
family but she always talked about her life. She was an active and spirited person.

Wishing your family peace during your loss.
I will always remember her smile and then I smile...

Arlene, we are so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. Like you, she lived life to the fullest, I loved hearing stories of her escapades and enjoyed meeting her the couple of times I did. She was a remarkable woman and so lucky to have you as a daughter. Thinking of you at this time. Lots of love, Cricket and Katy

We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to visit with Leah a few weeks ago on Brunswick & bring my mom Betty McInnis who also enjoyed Leah's laughter and fun on that day.
Leah's delight when Arlene brought her
Mom's orchids from home that day is a precious reminder of Leah's beautiful spirit.
Rest In Peace dear Leah, your life has touched more people than you could ever know.

A Loving Lilies And Roses Bouquet was sent on April 11, 2017

Leah, these flowers are sent in remembrance of you even though you won't be receiving them. I didn't see you often; but when I did, you always had a smile on your face, a twinkle in your eye, and a mischievous laugh ready to share. I miss you but I know you are at rest. With love, Sandy Edwards.

When I first met Leah at Dike's Landing, she talked to me about my family and her connection with them when were all growing up at the North End of Bath and were all raised in the Catholic faith. Her eyes always sparkled when she chatted with me or my friends in her apartment. Leah was a good reminder to live life to the fullest, whatever the fullest meant to you. I will miss her smile and devotion to life.
