Ralph Keenan

Bath - Ralph Kevin Keenan Sr., 61, of Bath Maine , passed away from heart complications on December 18, 2018 , with his entire family by his side.  He was born on May 10 , 1957, the 2nd child to the late and wonderful Grace Mae Barstow in Brunswick, Maine. 

Ralph loved his mother!

Ralph had 11 siblings all of whom he loved dearly. Mary, Bobby, Charlene, Linda, Michael, Zada, Cathy, Chuck, Brian, and the late Chris and Patrick , all had a special place in his heart. 

After graduating from Morse High School and serving his country in the United States Navy, he put in over 2 decades at Stinson’s seafood in Bath , in which time he also met  the love of his life , Charlene Linda Barter.  The two were married in August of 1986.     Certainly his proudest achievement is his family.  Together Ralph and Charlene created a wonderful life in a loving, loyal and happy environment.  Raising 4 sons despite the devastating loss of a new born son in 1986, Andrew Clay Keenan.  Alphonse , Jason, Ralph Jr. , and Phillip Keenan feel extremely lucky and proud to have his love and influence and will never forget! 

He also leaves behind with love, his grandkids; Alphonse and Katie’s children,

Dylan, Kyle and Sabrina and Jason’s daughters, Kaylee and Nyla.  And countless nieces and nephews who he would have loved more time with! 

Please remember Ralph as he lived. Strong, dedicated and loyal, also very soft and loving. 

Services will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the David E. Desmond & Son Funeral Home, 638 High Street in Bath Maine.  Visiting hours from 10 to noon, followed by a service. 

A pot luck reception will be held at Michael Keenan’s House, 131 George Wright Rd
