Dear Lendall and family, My heart aches for you. Most of my memories of Sherry and Lendall were from my childhood and their home on Cundy's Harbor, daughter April , my little brother, Ricky and I were around the same age. The only other kid I remember was Terry. The others were all older and not really around much that I recall. Being from a musical family myself, I naturally remember her playing and singing with my parents, a big spaghetti meal with the Hersom family as well. Oh and April's yellow poncho! LOL I loved that! Over the years, I would often run into Sherry and Lendall, always together, at Shaw's or CVS. Nothing ever changed, they always hugged me and we chatted a while. It was only in the last few years we connected again, living on the same street here in Bath. She never failed to give a toot if she saw me out and about with the grandkids and Lendall would wave and smile. They both have wonderful smiles! Sometimes she'd stop and I'd chat with her and Lendall too. I had a good cry watching the video here, seeing Sherry at various ages, with her siblings, her family and her Lendall. She will be missed and remembered always for her smile, her laugh, and her love. There is no question in my mind that she is singing in Heaven with those who have gone before her and what a pleasure it will be to see her again someday. God bless you all and may the sweet memories help to heal the pain you feel now. Your family has taken some very hard blows and I pray God gives you the strength and comfort you all need to keep on. I am so very sad to hear of Sherry Dawn's passing. Though my memories of her are mostly from my childhood I do know that both she and Lendel were deeply loved and respected by my parents, Bruce and Ellen Marston. I'm also quite sure they were at heavens gate welcoming Sherry with open arms! I hope the comfort of sweet memories will ease the days and weeks ahead, Lendel.
