Tara Lynn (Maus) Scharold

Bowdoinham - Tara Lynn (Maus) Scharold, Age 58, of Bowdoinham, passed away on July 11, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Tara was born to Norman and Catherine Maus of Southgate KY. 

Tara is
survived by her husband Brian Scharold of 32 years, her son, Jason Scharold and
his wife Marissa Scharold, daughter Chelsea Scharold and her Fiance’ Brandon
Laufenberg and her beloved beagle Holly; sisters Laura Maus, Kimberly Moellman,
Shauna Kremer, Lisa Giancola, Andrea Brossart, Vanessa Maus, Melissa Melville and
brother Norman (Chip) Maus; aunt, Veronica Staley; several nieces, nephews and
great nieces and nephews. 

Tara worked
for Midcoast Hospital Cafe’ for 20 years where she enjoyed cooking and baking
meals for customers and hospital staff. Tara enjoyed camping, family game
nights, bingo, and curling up with a good book whenever she got time to
herself. She loved spending time with her family, traveling the world and
sitting by a fire. 

Visiting hours will be held on July 18, 2019 from 9 am-10:30 am at the
David E. Desmond Funeral Home, 638 High Street in Bath. A Mass of Christian
Burial will follow at St. John’s Church in Brunswick, at 11:00 am. In lieu of
flowers please donate to Make-A-Wish Foundation or The Barbara Bush Foundation.
