Phippsburg – Timothy P. Gorman, 63 of Acorn Hill Rd. died April 9, 2017 at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

                He was born in Brookline, Massachusetts, on August 30, 1953, the son of George and Alice (Staples) Gorman.  The family moved to Bath when Tim was a small child, and he was educated in the local school, graduating from Morse High School, Class of 1974. 

Timothy has worked at Bath Iron Works for the past 39 years as a Insulator & for many years a lead man.

On October 3, 2003 he married Barbara Egan and they made their home in Phippsburg.

Tim enjoyed the Red Sox, Patriots, his coffee, and their many cats and dog.

He is predeceased by his parents, a son, Timothy Jr. and his ex-wife, Vicki.

He leaves behind his wife Barbara (Egan) Gorman of Phippsburg, a son, Edward Gorman of Wiscasset; 2 daughters, Melody Gorman of Glendale, AR & Shari Orrick of Desota, MO; 2 sisters, Jean Williamson & Kelly Burger both of KY; and a brother, Dean Delong of Woolwich

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that if you would like to make a memorial donation in Tim’s name, please make those to the Coastal Humane Society, 30 Range Road, Brunswick, Maine 04011

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 5:00 – 7:00PM at the David E. Desmond & Son Funeral Home, 638 High Street, Bath.
