Victor H. Pinkham Jr.

Wiscasset - Victor H. Pinkham Jr. age 77, peacefully passed surrounded by his family, into the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on May 24, 2019 at the Veterans Memorial Hospital. He was the loving husband of Geraldina Pinkham from Panama City, Panama.

Victor was born in Bath, Maine and spent his childhood in Five Islands Maine with his parents, five siblings and many extended family members. He attended Georgetown Elementary School and Morse High School, class of ‘59. Victor was a United States Army Veteran where he proudly served his country, and where he met his wife while stationed in Panama.  He was a member of the Five Island Second Baptist Church where he regularly attended with his wife by his side. He served as a Chaplain for the Odd Fellow Lodge which supported his belief of promoting love, charity and justice within his community. He enjoyed spending as much time as he could with his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, laughing, joking, playing. He will also be remembered for his great love of animals and his home state of Maine.

Survived by his wife, Geraldina (Gonzales) Pinkham; children, Venus (Pinkham) O’Brien and husband Steven J. O’Brien, April (Pinkham) Irons and wife Jennifer R. Irons, Velvet (Pinkham) Maxfield and husband Desroy L. Mason, Geoffrey A. Pinkham; his sister Sylvia (Pinkham) MacNeil and her husband Franklin MacNeil; 8 beautiful grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many other close friends and family. Preceded in death by his parents, Victor H. and Mary Albertina (Stevens) Pinkham; 4 siblings, his brother Cleon V. Pinkham, his sisters Jeannette (Pinkham) Hopkins, Mary Lou (Pinkham) Smith, Barbara (Pinkham) Doyle, and his grandson, Seth M. O’Brien.

Memorial services were held on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at the Five Island Second Baptist Church, 5 Old School House Rd, Georgetown, ME 04578. The services were conducted by Pastor Barry Moore with interment at the Mountainside Cemetery, 686-670 ME – 127 Georgetown, ME 04548.
