Alec James Lyons

Brunswick – Alec James Lyons Dr., 83, of Brunswick passed away on January 6th, 2025.  He was born on June 30th, 1941, the son of Jim and Agetha Lyons.

Alec grew up in Bath, Maine.  HE worked for the City of Bath.  He also worked for Dotons Construction for many years.  But the place he talked about the most was when he spent time working on the Golden Dawn with Bobby Stackpole and Fred Hersom. 

He enjoyed going to camp with his son Tedd and nephew Rob Gagne.  He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Alec was predeceased by his loving wife Helen (Whittam) Lyons and grandson Mathew Lyons.

Alec is survived by his 5 sons, Randy Lyons of Brunswick, Alec Lyons of West Bath, John Lyons and wife Charlinda of Brunswick, Walter Lyons of Brunswick, Alec Lyons Jr and his partner Mary Stewart of Brunswick; 3 grandsons, David Lyons kof Bath, Stephen Lyons and John Lyons Jr and wife Jessica of Brunswick.  Several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Alec enjoyed living with his son Teddy and his girlfriend Mary Stewart who was also his loving caretaker.

There will be no funeral services per Alecs request.

We will be having a Celebration of Life on Sunday, January 26, 2025 from 12:00 – 4:00pm at the Bath Elks Club.
