Allan Malm Obituary

On Wednesday, April 24, 2019, Allan Henry Malm, loving husband, father and friend, passed away peacefully at home at the age 73.

Allan was born on April 13, 1946 in Brunswick, Maine to Josephine (Norton) and Albert Malm. He graduated Freeport High School in 1964 and served in the US Naval Seabees MCB-8 from 1965 to 1969 until he retired after receiving a Purple Heart for wounds sustained in combat.  He became an Electrician, working on the Railroad and then later on various commercial buildings throughout Maine.  On October 27, 1968 he married the love of his life, Kathleen Lorraine Peavey.  They raised two children, Christian and Shannon. 

Allan was preceded in death by his father, Albert, and his mother, Josephine and step father, Sidney who he adored as well as his beloved wife, Kathy and sister Marcia. He is survived by his adoring daughter Shannon Malm and her fiancé Scott Morrissette and his son Christian Malm and his partner James Hughes; his beloved granddaughter Sydney Terison and his son-in-law Steve Terison who he loved dearly; brother Mark Malm and his wife; sister Elenor Smukler and  sister Mary Wells and her husband John Wells along with many nieces and nephews including his cherished niece Pamela Smith and her husband Tim Smith.
