Ann Marie White, 77, of Georgetown, Maine, danced her way to heaven, surrounded by her loving family, on January 26, 2024.Born on September 13, 1946, in Brooklynn, New York, Ann was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to all. She was known as our "Dancing Queen" and will be deeply missed.
Ann is survived by her daughters, Dawn Hanson and her husband Jeffery of Moyock, NC, and Kimberly Savoie and her husband Dale of Georgetown, ME.
She was a proud grandmother to Joshua Metz and his husband Christopher of Alexandria, VA, Nicholas Hanson and his wife April of Kingsland, GA, Wesley Caparratto, and his fiancée Katherine Mesmer of Ashland, VA, Bailey Caparratto, and fiancée Zelma White of Georgetown, ME, and Rylee Dawn Caparratto of Bath, ME, Anthony Savoie of Bath, ME, Riley Savoie of Georgetown,ME.
Ann was also a great grandmother to Carter, Bradley, and Caroline Hanson, and Anna-Liisa Marie Metz.
She is also survived by her sister, Helen Rein of Vernon, NJ.
Ann was preceded in death by her father, Albert H Rein, her mother, Mary Ann Rein, and her brother, Albert Rein.
In addition to being a loving mother and grandmother, Ann was a Navy spouse for 25 years. She supported her spouse and their military service with unwavering dedication. She was forever the professional as an Executive Assistant and SCARC facilities and transportation program manager.
Ann's hobbies included ceramics, traveling to visit children, grand children and family, and loving her fur babies, who brought her great joy and companionship throughout her life.
A Celebration of Life for Ann will be determined at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to local animal shelters, as Ann had a deep love for animals.
