Carole Ann Bodmer ,76, of Westport Island, ME, passed away on the afternoon of June 19th at Maine General in Augusta.  Born in Natick, Massachusetts on June 15th, 1940, she was the daughter of Frank Allen Wambolt and Rubye Elsie Jaeger of  Franklin, Mass. She was a graduate of Franklin High School. On top of being a homemaker, she was a licensed beautician and also worked for the Town of Wiscasset School System for nearly 18 years.

She met the love of her life, Jerry Bodmer and together they raised three sons, Gerald Allen (50) of Vienna, VA, Mark Edward (49) of Topsham, ME and Daniel Joseph (45) of North Whitefield, ME.  Carole and Jerry were married for 51 years.

Additionally, she is survived by her brothers Joseph Wambolt and Ross Wambolt of California and grandchildren Jacob, Sawyer, Wyatt and Mackoy of Vienna VA, Connor and Isabelle of Whitefield ME and Kathleen and Max of Topsham ME.

Visiting Hours will be held at the David E. Desmond & Son Funeral Home, 638 High Street, Bath, ME on Thursday, June 23rd from 4-6 PM.  At the families request, there will be no funeral service.
