West Bath - Everett W Mitchell 83 of West Bath, passed away peacefully at Winship Green on September 20, 2024. He was born to Alvin and Virginia Mitchell on March 16,1941. He attended Bath Maine, and schools in Florida. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. On February 27, 1965 he married the love of his life Cindy. They made their home in West Bath.
Everett was employed by Bath Iron Works in the welding department for 40 years. His life passions were spending time with family, traveling, watching patriots, survivor, flea markets, antiquieing, bingo, otb, music, dancing, Popham, and small point beach ,lighthouses, bird watching, camping with friends on Moose Head Lake.
He is survived by wife Cindy of 59 years; by his sister, Patricia Nicholas and husband Nick , daughters Evie Varney, partner William Leonard ,Joanne Murphy and husband Patrick and Karen Shaver and husband Archie .
He was known as grumps to Arthur Pierce IV ,Amanda Pierce, Zackery Mailloux, Sean Teixeira and wife Samantha, Amy Varney, and Aaron Shaver; Great Grandchildren Spencer, Trinity and Wayland: And several nieces and nephews
Everett was predeceased by his parents and sister Roxanne Lawley and (cuz) Norman
visitation Friday September 27, 2024 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm David E. Desmond & son Funeral Home 638 High street Bath, Maine. A Celebration of Life will be held on October 12, 2024 at 1o'clock At Phippsburg Sportsmen Association, 272 Maine Road Phippsburg, Maine
