Heidi Ann (Neumann) Fowler

Our beloved Lord knew what was best and extended his hand.  Heidi gladly reached out and they went hand in hand to Heaven on Monday, May 19, 2025. Heidi’s smiling again now that she’s with her Mom and Dad.

Heidi was born January 26, 1951 in Bristol, Connecticut, the daughter of Albert and Nancy Neumann.  She graduated from Bristol Eastern High in 1969.  She moved to Maine in 1974.

Heidi was a dedicated employee of the State of Maine District Court for thirty-nine years,retiring on December 31st, 2020.

Heidi loved her five Grandchildren with all her heart. She looked forward to family time, whether it was Holidays, celebrations or Grammy visits. 

Heidi was an excellent cook, her zucchini bread, pumpkin pies and cheese ball were the best!  

Heidi spent a lot of time with her Sister Nancy. They made many trips together to visit family: Connecticut, Iowa, New Hampshire and Texas. Heidi would always leave the planning and driving to Nancy!

On nice warm days, she loved spending time outdoors on the patio or tending to her flower gardens. You could find Heidi sitting on her picnic table admiring the flowers or the hanging planter that she always received for Mother’s Day.  Each year, she would have a different assortment; no matter what she planted, it flourished, especially her Hostas.

Heidi is survived by her loving children: Nathan Fowler and wife Heidi (Taylor) of West Bath, Sarah Rowe and husband Lawrence of Woolwich; her grandchildren: Wyatt Rowe, Cash Rowe, Boyd Rowe, Lily Fowler, and Charlotte Fowler; Sister Nancy Drouin of Brunswick, Sister Shirley Bartucca and husband Vincent of Westerly, RI, Brother Randy Neumann of Raleigh, NC, and Brother Richard Neumann and wife Cheryl (Grace) of Clyde, NC.  

Heidi was predeceased by her parents Albert E. Neumann in 2016 and Nancy L. Neumann in 2011.
