Jill Elizabeth Meader

Bath – Jill Elizabeth Meader, 65, after suffering a long illness, Jill joined our Savior on November 6th, 2023.  Wrapped in his loving arms, finding peace at last.

Jill Elizabeth Meader was born on June 17, 1954 to Melvin George Meader and Marion Kathleen Brown at Portland, Maine. She married Peter Jeffrey Bowles on March 13, 1974 at Yarmouth, Maine. They divorced April 10, 2008. From the marriage three children were born, Jessica Mae Bowles Arsenault, Hanna Elizabeth Bowles Gosselin, and Ethan Shepard Bowles.

Jill was a gifted artist who worked with stain glass, pen and ink, and watercolors. Being very proud of her Scottish heritage, she knew a lot of Scottish history, and loved singing Gaelic songs along with proudly wearing Gaelic jewelry.

She was an intelligent, warm, kind, great friend, who will be sadly missed.  Jill had a very dry sense of humor.  You never knew when a zinger would hit.

At Jill’s request, there will be no funeral or grave side service.
