Portland – Lionel “Leo” T. Arsenault, 88, of Portland, passed away at his home on Jan 1, 2024. He was born in Montreal, Canada on Nov 19, 1935, the son of Emil & Rose (Landry) Arsenault. Leo grew up in Connecticut graduating from high school, class of 1952. He joined the United States Army and proudly served his country for 4 years before serving in the Air Force for an additional 2 years. Upon his honorable discharge, Leo went back to school, University of Southern Florida, and obtained his Bachelors Degree.
Leo had several jobs during his lifetime, he worked for Bradlees in So Portland, worked as a library assistant, worked for an outreach program, was a sku0pervisor Prop-CEIA in Bath and worked in the shipping dept for Levinsky before retiring in 2007.
Leo was predeceased by his parents, his sister, Mary Elwell.
He leaves behind a brother, Frank P Arsenault of Connecticut, as well as many nephews & nieces.
At Leo’s request, he will be buried next to his sister at Oak Grove Cemetery, Bath. No services will be held.
