Norma Teresa (Lavallee) Quinn

Topsham - Norma Theresa Quinn of Topsham, left us peacefully on January 20, 2024.  Born Norma Theresa Lavallee 8-14-1929 in Burrillville, RI to Harry Jual Lavallee and Amilda Mary Boucher. She spent all of her 94 years spreading love to all of her family and friends. She was a devout Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. Commonly referred to as "Mom" by her daughter and son-in-law, and known to many simply as "Grammy."

She married Joseph Edward Quinn, the love her life on 3-24-1953 at age 24, and gave birth to her beautiful daughter Deborah Ann Quinn three years later on 10-9-1956.

In her younger years she loved to go roller skating, and travel. She enjoyed to crochet and quilt. She played the organ for ten years and loved to dance the "jitterbug." She had a love of shopping and was always looking for the best deals. Everyone will always remember her for her love of games and gambling, she loved her game shows especially Wheel of Fortune. She would attend BINGO nights for many years with her daughter Deborah. She was known to partake in family poker nights well into her 80's and could never turn down a scratch ticket. She also loved tending to her flower garden and enjoyed the beautiful hummingbirds that would visit the feeders outside her window. Norma had quite the sweet tooth, and would always be happily willing to accept brownies, cheesecake, or some ice cream.

She was an absolute staple of her family, and it will be hard for the family she leaves behind to imagine a life without her in it.

She is predeceased by her husband Joseph, and her daughter Deborah.

She is survived by her son-in-law Donald, her four grandchildren Erin, Shannon, Christopher, and Nicholas (spouse Emily), and her fifteen great-grandchildren Cosette, Devon, Mark, Alden, Nolan, Gideon, Ashtyn, Haddon, Jamison, Payson, Judson, Millie, Rileigh, Abigail, and Elsie.
