Robert "Bob" Cleveland Elsemore

Brunswick - Robert C. Elsemore 67 of Brunswick, Maine died at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, Maine January 15, 2021. Born in Tokyo, Japan on January 22, 1953 but grew up in Bath, Maine. Bob joined the United States Army as a young man and was stationed in Oklahoma. He held various job throughout his lifetime before becoming disabled due to his heart. 

Bob and his “sidekick” Brandy Duggan, were a perfect match for each other.  She was Bob’s caregiver and best friend.  The couple have many memories that will be cherished. 

Bob was a loving and attentive "Pop Pop" and never missed a birthday or holiday with his precious grandchildren. He was a wonderful man that always had the ability to bring a smile to your face.

He was predeceased by his parents Cleveland C. and Anna E. Elsemore and his beloved cat Peanut Buddy.

He is survived by his son, Patrick Carpenter and grandchildren, Tensleigh and Daniel Carpenter of Virginia; Best Friend, Brandy Duggan of Brunswick; Sister's, Lillian Williams of Bath, Maine and Erika Wurzburg of Germany. Nieces and nephews Brian, Christine, Terriance, Justin and many more. Lifelong friend,Tammy Pope of Bath, Maine. Beautiful and Single step-daughter Jennifer Carpenter of Bath, Maine. Many caretakers and friends.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to ASPCA or your local animal shelter.
