Robin Curtis Obituary

Robin Curtis, 65, of Brunswick, ME, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, November 23, 2025. Robin was born in Portland, Maine, the daughter of Sharon Holbrook and Forrest Snow. Robin grew up in Old Orchard Beach, Maine, before the family relocated to Bath, Maine, the family’s hometown.

Robin graduated from Morse High School in 1980, and during her time in school, Robin participated in the Special Olympics, earning a bronze and silver medal. Having cerebral palsy, it wasn’t easy for Robin to find work after graduation. She worked as a chambermaid at the Holiday Inn in Bath, and then as a clerk at Goodwill, before being hired as clerk at Bath Iron Works in 1986, where she worked for almost 25 years doing various administrative tasks.

During her retirement, Robin loved getting out with family to Old Orchard Beach, cross-stitching, latch-hooking and playing Bingo. She enjoyed doing a variety of arts and crafts at Horizon’s Living and Rehab where she resided after a life-threatening illness in 2021 made it unsafe for her to live independently.

Robin is survived by her three siblings, Stacy Johnston and William Snow of Clayton, North Carolina, Chad Collins of The Villages, Florida, a brother-in-law, Scott Turner of The Villages, Florida, a sister-in-law, Wanda Snow, of Brunswick, Maine. Three nieces, Quinn Dubord and her husband Eric Dubord, of Brunswick, Maine, Tasha Snow of Portland, Maine, and Laramie Gameon and her husband Jens of Montana, and a nephew, James Mitchell of New Hampshire. Five great nieces and nephews, Baylee, Brady and Luke Dubord of Brunswick, ME, Zakkai Johnston and Waylon Gameon of Montana, and Kaydence Garnett of Richmond, Maine.

Robin will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Though she may be gone, she’ll never be forgotten. There will be no memorial service. Robin will be laid to rest at the family plot in Oak Grove Cemetery in Bath, Maine.
