Phippsburg – Tracy Ann (King) Holcomb, 61, of West Bath and formerly Phippsburg, passed away suddenly on July 4, 2024 at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick. She was born in New Haven, CT, on March 13, 1963, the daughter of Arthur & Roberta (Hubinger) King. She attended schools in Connecticut.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 23 years William Holcomb; sisters, Susan, Brenda & Sarah; brothers, Michael & George (Skip); 4 nephews; 2 nieces; 4 great Nephews and 3 great nieces; several aunts & uncles and a few cousins & 2nd cousins.
As a young girl, Tracy moved to California with her dad and returned in her early adulthood earning her GED, something that she was very proud of. Tracey worked many jobs in her life, her favorite being at Brackets’ Market in Bath, where she was a deli clerk, where she made employee of the month twice.
Later in life she married her soul mate Bill Holcomb and gathered memories for the next 23 years with family and friends from coast to coast. Throughout life she enjoyed for her beloved pets and cared for many injured animals and lost souls along the way.
She was an avid and proficient gardener and found joy growing flowers and veggies which allowed her to watch the birds and butterflies, which made her smile. Her ever present smile was effervescent and her ebullient personality attracted the forlorn of all souls she selflessly came in contact with.
The family would like to invite all that loved her to a Celebration of Tracey‘s life through a musical tribute at 3:00pm on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at the UCC Church in Phippsburg with Pastor Holly officiating.
In lieu of flowers, family would like to have donations in her memory to go to something that was a passion of Tracey’s; Paws Cause, C/O Boothbay Animal Hospital, 285 Wiscasset Road, Boothbay, Me 04537 Tracey thanks you for your help.
