Lucille Thibodeau departed this life to be in eternal glory on Tuesday, January 5th, 2016 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at age 103. Mrs. Thibodeau was a former resident of Topsham, Maine until she moved to Choctaw Oklahoma to live with her daughter Joan. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday January 9th at Sunny Lane Funeral Home in Del City, Oklahoma. Interment will be at St. John's Cemetery in Brunswick, Maine. Mrs. Thibodeau was born on December 31st 1912 in Brunswick and was happily married to Mr. Henry Thibodeau from 1948, until his death in 1994. Mr. and Mrs. Thibodeau raised two daughters, Rachel and Joan.

Surviving family members are: Rachel Bozeman and husband Gary of Aledo Texas, Joan Carter and husband Joseph of Choctaw Oklahoma, Granddaughter and family; Elizabeth Carter and fiancée Kyle Kidd, Great-grandchildren, Austin Kidd, Thomas Kidd and William Scott, Grandson and family; Jonathan Carter and wife Angie, Great-grandchildren, Caleb Carter and Kierstan Carter.

Mrs. "T" as so many called her, loved to sit on her front porch to visit and reminisce with neighbors and family. Her Sunday dinners with her friends at Captain Mikes or Taste of Maine was always a big topic of discussion along with the day's weather. It had become a routine for many living on Prospect Street in Topsham to stop by and check-up on and chat with Mrs. "T".

The Maine climate and many years of long walks suited Mrs. Thibodeau well. Until recently she was in relatively good health, spending her final years at Wolfe Living Center. Mrs. Thibodeau was a member of the Daughters of Isabella at Saint John's Catholic Church in Brunswick. She often shared that she missed Maine and the good seafood, and cared little for the hot Oklahoma or Texas summers.

Mrs. Thibodeau was preceded in death by husband Henry, Sister Rita Bouchard and Brothers Joseph and Armand Bouchard.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the Wolfe Living Center staff and Valir Hospice care-givers. You have been a real blessing. Thank you for your comforting care and love.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 11:00am at All Saints Parish, St. John's the Baptist Church, Brunswick, Maine
