Richard C. Pye, of Dresden, passed away Thursday, August 18,  2016. He was born on July 22, 1964 in Brunswick Maine.

He is survived by his daughter, Caitlin Pye-Lee of North Carolina; 2 grandsons, Carter and Colby of North Carolina; mother, Judith Pye of Bath; and brother, Timothy Pye of Bath.

He was predeceased by his father, Ronald Pye of Bath.

Richard graduated from Morse High School in 1983.  He worked as an employee of BIW for approximately 30 years. He was very passionate about racing, hunting, and fishing. He enjoyed spending quality time with friends and family. He was very pet oriented and always had a cat, dog or both. Richard had a good heart and would do anything he could for his family and friends.

He will be sadly missed by all those that loved him
