TOPSHAM – Suzanne Mary Cruz-Miranda, of Topsham passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 20, 2016, surrounded by family members that thought the world of her.  She was born on September 12, 1946, in Brunswick, the daughter of Juliette (Riendeau) and Camille Labbe.

She attended schools in Brunswick.  In 1966 she married the love of her life, Felix Juan Cruz-Miranda.  Suzanne and Felix had recently celebrated their 50 year wedding anniversary in March.

Suzanne was raised by her cousins Mary Louise Reindl and Jacque Dorothy York.   The three ladies were raised by Juliette and Camille as sisters. 

Though Suzanne didn’t have her own children she was a second mother to her nieces and nephews, Roger Owen Beck, Jr of Bangor, Maine, Kimberlee Anne Shader of Roanoke, VA, David Leroy York of Brunswick, Maine, Dawn Rae Wood of Hollywood, Maryland, Joseph Edward York of Port Saint John, Florida, and Kristin Nicole Reindl of Brunswick, Maine.

Suzanne loved animals all of her life and for the past 15 years her heart was filled with love for her dog Lil Bear. 

Suzanne enjoyed spending time with family, playing games on the computer, and watching I Love Lucy. 

Suzanne is predeceased by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Felix Juan Cruz-Miranda and her sisters Mary Reindl and Jacque York, and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 10:00am at St. John’s Cemetery, Brunswick, Maine
