Woolwich – Warren Plant Sr. went home to be with the Lord on January 4, 2016 at his home in Woolwich after a very painful and suffering lung cancer.  He was born in Bath on Aug 10, 1945 the son of Percy & Myrtle (Gilliam) Plant.  He grew up in Bath and attended Morse High school.  As a young boy he worked for his father at Plants Seafood, as a teenager at the Bath Laundry and as an adult he worked at Bath Iron Works retiring after 30 years of service.

Warren had a passion for the ocean and loved being on the water.   In his spare time he did a little lobstering on the boat he owned, he was so proud of his BHM Boat.  He loved animals, he had several cats and dogs as pets, Especially Lexi, his faith pitbull.  “Blackie” the cat who would be found on Warren’s shoulders to oversee what Warren was doing.  But his love didn’t stop at the pets, he always fed the strays and wildlife, he would sit and watch the birds for hours on end.

Warren was a person with a large heart and never thought twice when someone needed him.  He will be sadly missed by all those that loved him.

He is predeceased by 2 brothers, Wallace Plant, Percy Plant; 2 nephews, Dale Plant, Steven Plant

He leaves behind his wife, his soulmate and partner in life, Lynn Coffin;  his children, Darlene Ambrosio and her husband Mario and her 2 children of VA, Warren Jr and his wife Angel of Breman, Michael of Wiscasset, Holly and her partner Noah of Wiscasset, Tony and his wife Tarra and their 2 children of Bowdionham; a sister, Ethel Alferes and a brother, Authur Plant; several nieces and nephews.  He also leaves behind some very close friends, Lorna Coffin and Ed Densmore both of Woolwich, Mark Coffin and Authur Warren of OOB, Dale Degroot of Brunswick, and Ralph & Christine Rogers of Woolwich.

At Warrens request, there will be no services.  If you would like to make a memorial donation in his memory, the family asks they be made to Brunswick Humane Society, 30 Range Road, Brunswick, Maine 04011.
