BATH - Wilbur A. "Bill" Henigan, 89, of Congress Ave, in Bath, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Aug. 13, 2017 at his home with loving family by his side. He was born Dec. 23, 1927 in Milton, Mass. son of the late Wilbur T. and Rose Ahlstrom Henigan. Bill attended Cranston R.I. high school where he graduated the class of 1947. He worked in the petroleum industry for 38 years of which the last 32 years were with Saybolt, Co. Inc. He was transferred and moved his family to Maine in 1977 where he retired as a Supervising Petroleum Inspector 1989.

Wilbur’s life passions where his wife and family, golfing and baseballs' Boston Red Sox and his childhood home of Jamestown R.I. He attended many sporting events watching his kids participate at Windham High School.

He was predeceased by his wife Carol Cordes Henigan, married 52 years, daughter Karen Henigan Henick and sister Audrey Henigan Swanson.

Survivors include his brother Roger and wife Suzanne Henigan of San Diego, CA; his children; a son, Michael Henigan Hilliard and husband Kelly of Atlanta, GA, a daughter, Linda Henigan Duntley and husband Eric of Scarborough, a son, Stephen Henigan and wife Christy of Corinna, son, Donald Henigan  and wife Kim of Bath; along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A graveside ceremony will take place at Arlington Cemetery, No. Windham, ME on Sat. August 26 at 11:00 am. All are welcome to attend.
