I can't express how fortunate and grateful I feel to have had Bonnie as a friend during her years at Northeastern. We talked so much, she helped me so much with her kind, sage-like way, and it was so clear how much she adored her family. I've never had a friend quite like Bonnie. I'm so terribly sorry for your loss.

Dear family and friends of Bonnie Chauncey,
My husband, David, my son, Ben and I are shocked and very sad to hear of Bonnie's passing. She was my son's, Ben's, class teacher at the Chicago Waldorf School after their first teacher, Mr. Moore, left. She was enthusiastic and caring with her students, giving them the benefit of her knowledge in many areas and disciplines. She conveyed her love of learning and inspired her students to have that too. I had the pleasure to be one of her room parents, along with Pam Bradley, for several years. We have happy memories of those times. Lately, after Bonnie and her husband moved into the loop, I met her at quite a few concerts since we had a common love of music. We shared news of our families. I am happy to have had those last meetings with Bonnie. Accept our sincere condolences for a person who contributed much to others. Ann Raven
