Dear Guerdon and family. My deepest sympathy on the death of Joyce. I remember babysitting the girls when they were very young. It was always a good experience, Joyce was a very special person.

Joyce was a dear co-worker at Broome Surrogates Court, and her friendly, warm personality together with her experience & knowledge made her respected by all of the legal community. To work with her for 10 years was a privilege & she had the perfect balance of hard work & laughter & love of family. My sincere sympathies to all of her family - she was a great lady.

I remember my sister, Bessie Volkwein's, good friend Joyce and her husband from my Deposit days. I graduated from Deposit High School in 1959, four years after Joyce and Bessie. Dear Guerdon, Becky, Kathy, and Shelly,
We will always remember my best friend from high school and her dear Guerdon with much love. We had great reunions at their Deposit farm and in Woolwich after graduation, and our phone conversations continued until a week before her passing. Joyce was very open about her health problems and also very strong in dealing with them and life in general. Love to all of you. Bessie and Fred Volkwein
