I will never forget Sam. I remember working with him on the Rock Hopper. I remember him picking up the radio mic and saying "Ruff Rider, you on there Spark?"
We have lost a Classic. I will miss him.
My heartfelt condolences to Kathy, Laurie, and Sam.

So sorry to hear of Sam's passing. I first met Sam when I was in fifth grade. We played a lot of basketball together. Don't believe I've ever met a person easier to get to know . I'm sure he will be greatly missed by his family.

Growing up in Phippsburg it was given that you knew Sam. He was easy to strike up a conversation with and will certainly be missed. If a trap shows up on your lawn some day it's Sam setting another one.

Remembering Sam and others picking me up at the airport as I was returning from Viet Nam in 1969. Sam was just to easy to like and that smile of his made you feel that he was a good friend. May the winds be at your back old friend and may you RIP with the heaven at your side. Truly a person that is a page in Morse High School history...
